Project Manager, Learning Technology

Reports to: Director, Learning & Development

BAI – the premier provider of breakthrough intelligence, innovation and information for the financial services industry - seeks a Project Manager, Learning Technology for our St. Louis office. This position is part of the Learning & Development Product Team. The Project Manager, Learning Technology will be responsible for the review, enhancement, and/or transition of a portfolio of products that are aligned with the Learning & Development business strategy. Products include E-Learning Courseware, Learning Management System (LMS), and learning support tools.



Responsibilities


• Researches, tests, and trains internal team members on new or updated functionality with BAI learning technology products
• Gathers and manages feedback from business areas as it relates to Learning & Development technology products including Customer Support, Marketing, and Sales
• Conducts analysis of LMS related issues, professional services, and enhancement requests
• Researches new or unutilized functionality in the LMS
• Administers content on the LMS; establishes standards and documentation for content versioning and organization in the LMS as it relates to BAI’s business model
• Analyzes and researches new product concepts and make proposals to senior management regarding opportunities and risks related to proposed initiatives
• Manages new learning technology product implementations
• Solicits learning technology conversations through collaboration tools
• Conducts ongoing product training
• Writes UAT test cases for application testing and participates in test cycles
• Completes back-up course programming as needed
• Oversees and manages product documentation & training resources

• Requires a lot research and troubleshooting as technical problems arise related to courseware functional problems. Must have the ability to modify code as needed.

Qualifications
• BS /BA degree required
• 3-5 years of experience developing SCORM compliant eLearning modules using desktop authoring tools, experience with HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and FTP
• 3-5 years working with one or more of the following: Learning Management Technology, Authoring Tools, and Virtual Classrooms
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver courseware and new learning solutions. Most importantly, there must be a commitment to delivering a high-quality learning experience.
• Experience with instructional design technologies including Lectora, Adobe Captivate or Articulate, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Demonstrated experience writing business requirements and testing new or updated functionality
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects and working with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff, and amongst team leaders
• Demonstrated willingness to accept accountability for assignments, timeliness and quality of work product
• Experience in training individuals and small groups, preferably in a technical subject
• Ability to provide technical and general operational support to BAI internal and external teams
